Murter Open Air
In Cigrada bay, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, in the period from late July to mid August, after the day's activities on the beach, evenings become very attractive and interesting especially for young people. Just at that time held the traditional Murter Open Air, where the most numerous domestic and international musical artists and the Murter Rock Fest summer party. There are also many other surprise guests, contests, music all day at the beach bar Lantana, and free camping with a festival ticket.The peak of the summer season celebrates traditional foam party in Murter. A special attraction is a huge waterfall of foam that expands dance, fireworks, dancing hall with exquisite musicians who care about great music. Festivals
Kornati Cup
This traditional sailing regatta was a great event and marks the beginning of tourist season. It takes place in the 4th the month.
Dani od poklad
Carnival costume events in Murter, which bring together a large number of participants of all ages, are reflected nearly one hundred thirty years, and they eventually became a traditional form of entertainment, relaxation, responses to social problems and life situations.
On carnival Tuesday procession moves from the old Murter to the Hramina (center), where after the presentation of masked groups and masks held a hearing of the Krnja - responsible for all evils and crimes which occurred in the previous year. After the accusation, the locals burn Krnje and the carnival can start.
Murterski pir (The wedding in Murter )
Wedding in Murter is organized with the primary intention of presenting the forgotten traditional wedding customs as part of the rich cultural heritage, the event which will intrigue both local people and many visitors, and become traditional. Participants of Murter marriage, men, women and children, dressed in traditional costumes, formed in procession headed by a young bride the groom, and mate. All participants followed a wedding in the central town square dancing a traditional dance, special dances and rhythm, along with enjoying the variety of traditional delicacies.
Fešta na Tarcu (Lady of Tarca)
It is held the first Sunday in the 7th month, on the occasion of the feast of Our Lady of Tarca on Kornati, where ships are coming.
Brganja day
Betina festival which is held the first Sunday in the 8th the month.
Characterized by a lot of music and dance performance group, original cuisine until the early morning hours.
Assumption of Mary
This great religious holiday held on 15 VIII (fostering religious and folk traditions, evening entertainment).
Saint Rok
16.VIII, pilgrims to Mount St. Rocco.
Saint Mihovil
The feast of the patron, held 29.11. The parish church of the same name held the Holy Mass with choral singing, afternoon, traditional regatta "Latin Sail," and a popular evening entertainment.
